A Few Notes for 2011
We've had a fantastic first year for Faolchú in 2010. Thanks so much to students and parents of children for all your hard work and dedication.
There are many plans currently in development for next year to keep everyone challenged and fulfilled.
First off we are hoping to see more parents in to training, now is the perfect time to take up a lifelong challenge that you can share with your child. Adults classes are back on the 5th of January.
There are two new classes beginning in January, there will be a sparring class to facilitate those students who really want to focus on this aspect of their development.
Second we are running a six week course for 8+ beginners. After completion of the six weeks, students can progress into the regular 8+ class.
Both new classes must be prebooked as space is strictly limited to allow maximum attention for each individual.

JKS Seminar & Grading
On Saturday 4th December we travelled to Dublin for the JKS Christmas Course & Grading. Over 250 students graded between Saturday and Sunday.
The highlight of the course was the Shodan (black belt) grading.
Our own Sensei Marie took her Shodan on the day in a very tough test. Congratulations to her.
Myself on the receiving end!! of a demonstration.
