Fun in the Sun!!!!!

We all had a bit of out door karate this week on Wednesday. Tuam karate kids, don't see a lot of sunshine and we are very fortunate that our training venues have large safe outdoor areas.

March Student of the Month

Tuam Karate Kid's impressed us as always when it came to student of the month awards. Well done to Tuesday Little Wolves Rory Mullan and Ciara Murray, Combat student Dmitrijs Cigulovs and (pictured) Jadzia Murphy and Amy O Hara.

Scott Langley in Kiltimagh

Sensei Scott Langley will be teaching classes in Kiltimagh on Sunday te 25th of March, in Kiltimagh Community centre.

Training times are 10am for juniors and

12:30 for seniors

Tuam St Patricks Day Trophy

Tuam Karate Students Little Wolves, Marnix, Gearóid, Shane, Noah, Gabriele, Ross, Lucas and Nathan, proudly display their winning trophy from Tuam St Patricks Day Parade.

We had a fantastic day once again at the Tuam St Patricks Day Parade. Students and their parents came out in force, wearing dogi and St Patricks Day colours, face paint and hats. Displays went well and Faolchú Tuam Karate even won 3rd place sports catagory Trophy.

Tesco for Clubs and Schools

It's that time of year again, where Tesco are handing out the vouchers for Clubs and Schools. Last year we came up a couple of hundred short on getting mats. Fortunetly our vouchers carry over so we would be really greatful if students and parents could once again bring in the tokens they collect with their weekly Tesco shopping and this year we are garenteed to get our mats.

JKS Midlands Championships 2012

Tuam Karate Students once again did themselves proud at the JKS Midland Championships last week. 9 students travelled to what was to be a very high standard event. As always Faolchú Karate Students performed exceptionally and faught fiercely. Well done to everyone.

Grading March 2012

Well done to Patricia, Jayden, Jadzia, Joe and Cian, successfully graded under Sensei Dermott O Keeffe yesterday. It was a challenging grading for all but the students brought their best as always.
