Tuam Competing
We have two upcoming competitions in May.
Firstly there's the Little Dragons Open Tournament in Ballina, Co. Mayo. This is suitable for all children under the age of 14, with semi-contact points; light contact-continuous; karate kumite and kata.
Then on the 13th of May in Dublin there's the JKS Ireland National Championships, this is best suited to age 6+ up to adult.
Entries must be in by Thursday the 1st of May.

Tuam Upcoming Events
Tuam Karate Faolchú have lots of opportunity to keep active over the coming months. Here's a few date reminders for the calender.
May 6th: Ballina Little Dragons.
This is a highly recommended event suitable for all Faolchú Karate students and Faolchu combat students.
May 13th JKS National Championships
A top level competition in Dublin. Recommended for students who would like to challenge themselves against All Ireland Karateka.
May 27th: JKS National Squad Training
For the first time the monthly Irish squad training will be held in Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo.
June 23rd. Faolchú Grading
Our own club grading open to all students in Total Fitness Solutions.
July 14th. Faolchú Inhouse Competition.

Squad Training
Total Fitness Tuam is the venue for Faolchu Squad training tomorrow. There are six sessions left this year so if you have not attended any yet there is still time to fulfil the quota to qualify for a FREE club hoodie. We look forward to seeing you there.

HAPPY EASTER
Just to let everyone know that classes are as normal during the Easter break with the exception of Tuesday Combat/Kickboxing which will return to normal in two weeks.Also don't forget, Sunday squad training on the 15th of April.

Little Wolves 1st Competition
Children's karate in Tuam was alive and kicking on Sunday in Tuam. Total Fitness hosted the event which seen the first of it's kind for Faolchu where the under 8's from Faolchú and MVF competed for a chance to take a medal and get onto the podium.
The day was run as a friendly challenge and thanks to competitors, instructors and parents there was a sense of fun and good will, where all children where encouraged and learned in a positive way.
A huge thanks to Master Harry Thompson for travelling up with his students and making the event a success.
