Karate in North Galway is accelerating in popularity as Karate clubs from Clonberne, Kilkerrin and Dunmore advance in leaps and bounds.
Last Sunday Dermot O Keeffe Sensei 6th Dan visited Kilkerrin Karate Club to test students for their belts and he wasn't to be disappointed as students brought their best on the day, displaying their knowledge and advancement within their karate.
All students passed and I'm looking forward to seeing the new belts at class this week.

Tuam Karate Club Faolchú in line with recommendations from Galway Sports Partnership will be holding Annual Faolchú Registration on the 1st week in September. This is open to all new and existing students and all students must update their registration to keep us informed of new contact information and medical conditions.

Faolchú Dunmore and Faolchú Clonberne

Faolchú are spreading our wings and venturing into Dunmore and Clonberne. After many requests over the years and having watched dedicated students travel the road into us week after week, at last we are in a position to expand the club out to north Galway.
Plans are:
Clonberne will have a Friday class from 4.30 pm suitable for children aged 8yrs+, beginning the 18th of January in the Clonberne Community Center.
Dunmore will have 2 Monday classes, Little Wolves aged 4-7 yrs will be on at 6pm and Childrens Karate will begin at 7pm. These will be in the Enterprise Center.
All are welcome and we are really excited about meeting all our new karate kids.
