White Tigers Challenge

Galway Karate Team Regan Warde, Shauna Flynn, Kieron Friel, Jayden Murphy, Jasmine Flaherty, Matthew Friel and Zoe Fleming had a great day out at the White Tigers Challenge in Castlebar.
They excelled in their kata events and returned with new friends, 2 first places and 4 medal places.

A big thanks to Martin O Malley and White Tigers for inviting us to their Kata Contest. All Faolchu members where exceptional an especially successful day was had by medal winners :Zoe Fleming - Gold, Clara - Silver, Amy- Silver, Dominick - Silver, Jayden- Bronze, Aodhan - Bronze, Kieron - Bronze, Sean - Bronze.

White Tigers Kengeki

Faolchú Karate traveled with a 18 strong team to White Tigers Martial Arts Kengeki Contest and what a fun filled day it turned out to be.
Many prizes and great fun was had on the day.

Tournament Time

For those of you who are interested in testing yourself at competition, or maybe just getting outside your own dojo and meeting new faces and making friends. Also for the purpose of filling your squad reward criteria.There are several events coming up soon.

First off on September 21st there are 2 tournaments. The ONAKAI Junior Kata Championships are on in Ballinasloe and White Tigers Castlebar are holding a kata competition. If you are unsure which to attend please speak to your Sensei and they will recommend which is best for you.

White Tigers Tournament can be entered on the day.

The ONAKAI Kata Championships entries must be in club and paid by Tuesday the 16th of September.

The JKS Ireland Championship are on Sunday the 5th of October. Final entries must be in club and paid by Thursday the 25th of September.

And one for the diary. Faolchú Inhouse Championships is on the 16th of November.
